{"id":36,"date":"2016-01-04T17:01:03","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T17:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goyeandteach.org\/wp\/?p=36"},"modified":"2016-01-13T14:56:41","modified_gmt":"2016-01-13T14:56:41","slug":"november-december-prayer-letter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goyeandteach.org\/wp\/november-december-prayer-letter\/","title":{"rendered":"November &#038; December Prayer Letter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dear Churches and Friends,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c\u2026That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my\u00a0church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I have been privileged to help start a new church in the province of LamPhun. As in most of Thailand, LamPhun is very needy of churches. We had our first service on November 1<sup>st<\/sup>. The church, LamPhun Baptist Church, already has a small group regularly attending services. We have had several visitors as well. Some good seeds are being sown in lost hearts around the community. The church does some special outreach ministries to help meet and build new relationships, including a special family meeting and free English classes to Thai\u2019s in the community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Word of God<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are fortunate to have Bibles in the local language, so anyone that wants a Bible can have one. Everyone that has a Bible in their language should be grateful. Job said <em>\u201cI have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.\u201d\u00a0<\/em> Job didn\u2019t have a Bible, but realized the importance of God\u2019s words. Lately, I have been able to give out two cases of Bibles. I also just placed a new order for tracts.\u00a0 On a side note; there are two containers of Bibles on their way to Thailand. We are very thankful to have God\u2019s word and be able to get God\u2019s words out to the Thais.
